Platforms

Anonymous VPN Desktop
Anonymous VPN Desktop

Anonymous VPN is available on PC, iOS, and Android. Of course, you can use the same account on all three. The problem with the iOS app is it’s not available on the App Store. You need to download the package manually and install on an iOS device. On Google Play, it’s called Anonymous VPN, but the app name is AVPN. It has the same name on the desktop.
Review: Competitive services provide support for several platforms. Anonymous VPN is available for limited devices.
Rating: 3 out of 5.

Features

The service is easy to use. On the desktop, you must install and login with your details. The connection button connects to the optimal or the chosen server. When the VPN software is open, you’ll see the icon in the notification panel. On Android, add account details (one-time), and hit connect. It has a couple of setting options, including quick and auto-connect. When the VPN is connected, a notification displays all the time.
According to their website, they don’t store any logs. Some VPN clients save the data, but Anonymous VPN claims to be logs free client. There is no free version of Anonymous VPN, but you can purchase a three-day trial for $2. Lastly, they use secure protocols to make sure the data is highly encrypted.
Review: Privacy is essential, and Anonymous VPN is one step ahead.
Rating: 5 out of 5.

Speed

The Anonymous VPN review also covers VPN tests. Speed is one of the significant factors, and for your peace of mind, I conducted a speed test. A VPN should not compromise with the speed. If a user feels the difference, they will have a wrong impression. Whenever I connect, I don’t feel any difference in speed. Check out the below image. The second test was taken while the VPN was connected.

Review: There wasn’t much of the difference in the speed test.
Rating: 5 out of 5.

Location

A VPN should hide one’s location and fool everyone who tracks the user. Using check my location tools, every time I get a location close to the selected server. Anonymous VPN’s optimal server may not change your country as it usually finds the nearest server.
Review: You choose the server and see the magic. Anonymous VPN changes the location in no time.
Rating: 5 out of 5.

Servers

Anonymous VPN has servers in many locations. Although, the one I sometimes need (India) is missing. It supports 25 server locations in countries including USA, UK, Australia, Singapore, New Zealand, Spain etc. The speed is top-notch, but it may vary from server to server.
Review: Supports 25 servers around the globe. I would say it’s enough.
Rating: 4 out of 5.

Mobile apps

The final part of Anonymous VPN review is mobile apps. Android app is available on Google Play. The app has over 5,000 downloads with 2.8 ratings. Most of the negative reviews are regarding connection problems. As mentioned iOS app can be downloaded from the website. The iOS app has the same features.
Review: Not sure why the app has deficient ratings on Google Play. It works fine on my phone. But, I have to rate considering the rating by users.
Rating: 3 out of 5.

Price

Cost varies with the period. You can try the VPN for three days for $2, while the monthly subscription is $12, and a yearly subscription is $69. The benefits you get are the same as all the plans. The problem with their service is if you have subscribed to the annual plan, you don’t have an option to cancel renewal. You will have to contact the support to cancel the renewal; otherwise, it’ll keep charging for the renewal.
Review: The price is OK. Although a trial period of even for a couple of hours would be reasonable as the service doesn’t have any free options available.
Rating: 4 out of 5.

Overall rating

The overall rating of Anonymous VPN is 4.1. The rating is the average of all the scores.

Final words

If you want something simple and fast, then don’t think more. Anonymous VPN is a great VPN client out there.
