Waze vs Google Maps – Comparing Every Little Thing in 2019

Waze vs Google Maps
Waze vs Google Maps

Thousands of users find routes to their destinations using Waze and Google Maps. Both apps have been here for over ten years, and Google owns both. Comparing both will not make one bigger than the other, because the same company operates both, but for everyday users, it is important to know which app is better. In this article, we are going to see how do both apps stand against each other? The article is the ultimate comparison of Waze vs Google Maps.

Waze vs Google Maps

Before we begin, let’s read some details and history of both apps.

Waze: Waze Mobile developed Waze in 2006. The app quickly became favourite. In 2013 Google bought Waze for $966 million, and it paid $1.2 million to all Waze’s employees.

Google Maps: In 2004 a company called Where 2 Technologies by two brothers started working on Google Maps project. Google then acquired the company and launched Google Maps a year after. According to Business Insider, in 2013 Google Maps was determined to be the world’s most popular app with over 50% of global smartphone owners using it at least once.

Waze vs Google Maps - Interface
Waze vs Google Maps – Interface

Regarding the interface, both apps show lots of information. Both maps display suburbs, significant roads, shops and your home if added in the settings. While a good thing about Waze is it shows the shop’s logo on the map. Waze only uses its default map type, and you can change between 2D and 3D in the settings.

Google Maps comes with three map types and map details. The start-up one is the default, and the other two are satellite and terrain. By activating satellite type, you can see an aerial view of the map, while the terrain is Google Maps in 2D. The details in Google Maps include transport traffic and cycling.

Regarding the colouring, Waze is much darker and visible because it uses dark colours, while Google Maps uses light colours to display roads, rivers, and streets. Waze’s map interface includes a sound option and the current location button. Google Maps has buttons including explore, transport, for you, and the compass option which changes the map’s direction towards the north.

Waze vs Google Maps - Routing
Waze vs Google Maps – Routing

From routing to voice, both use a different algorithm. When we put an address, Waze displays an overview of the address, including the address, significant roads, travel time, distance, and arrival time. It also shows sound options, other routes, share ETA, route overview and the best time to leave buttons.

Google Maps, on the other hand, displays the address, street view, directions, share and save buttons. Tapping on the “Direction” button gives an overview of the journey, and another button “Start” comes on the screen to start the trip. The good thing about Waze is it begins the trip as soon as you put the address. In Google Maps, we have to tap on three different buttons to start the journey.

Check out: Sygic vs Google Maps.

Waze supports about 75 voices which including English, Italiano, Magyar, Eesti etc. You have an opportunity to record your voice for navigation. Google Maps supports about 55 voices including English, Eesti, Filipino, Italiano, Hindi etc.

The basic voice algorithm in Waze is, it guides you when to turn and it again reminds with the name when the distance is 300 meters. The problem with Waze is it guides when the turn is so close which sometimes leads to missing the turn. Google Maps try to guide as early as possible. Sometimes if there are two streets very close to each other, and the driver has to turn on the second street it guides taking the second street even the driver has not crossed the closest street. Google Maps also suggests if heavy traffic, road closure or any crash is ahead and it changes the route if beneficial.

Traffic and reporting

Real Time Traffic Reporting - Waze vs Google Maps
Real-Time Traffic Reporting – YouTube Video

Both apps use satellite technology to monitor the traffic, and both apps have different procedure to handle traffic and related problems. Waze is a community-based GPS navigation app and other than AI, it collects data from drivers and then calculates traffic. Meanwhile, Google Maps is a robust app, and it gathers data from most services like satellite, Android Auto, and many more. Even though people think Waze is better in traffic detecting, Google Maps does a better job.

Businesses Information

Regarding businesses information, Google Maps is the king. With Google Maps you can see information like business hours, phone numbers, website, reviews, pictures etc. All the data is provided by business owners and users around the world. Users share their experience as they visit a store. Google calls it contributions and whoever contributes gets points.

Transport options

Google Maps Transit Options
Google Maps Transit Options

Regarding public transport, Google Maps is the king. The app comes with a wide range of travel options including drive, cycle, walk, run, taxi and even flight in some areas. Waze does not support transit options, but you change the vehicle type to private, taxi and cycle to get better routes.

Safety Features in Waze
Safety Features in Waze

Both apps have different characteristics which make both apps beneficial. Safety features in Waze are speed camera warnings, current car speed and the allowed speed warnings, police warnings, crash and traffic warnings etc. Everything users report counts towards their contributions.

Security and safety is the primary concern when it comes to anything. Waze comes with a built-in warning system which warns you to not to use the app while driving. It detects and displays a warning if the vehicle is in motion. There a button “Passenger” to override this warning. Unfortunately, Google Maps does not come with any built-in security features.

Check out: HERE WeGo vs Waze.

On the road

I took both apps to test. From my location, the destination was 20 minutes far, and I tested both apps on the busiest time. Both apps did an excellent job, although I was expecting more from both apps. On peak hours, the unpredictable traffic can trick both maps, and the same happened in the tests. Have a look by yourself in the below comparison video of Waze vs Google Maps.

Timeline review

Google Maps Timeline Review
Google Maps Timeline Review

Another feature in Google Maps is Timeline review. Google collects your travelling data if you have granted permission, and it shows you the places you have visited. It also highlights the routes you travel. You can see the kilometres you have travelled, the places you have visited with travel time on that day. You can also choose a specific day by tapping on the calendar button on the top. Waze does not come with time review option, although some people think it’s good because they don’t want anyone to track them.

Contributions - Waze vs Google Maps
Contributions – Waze vs Google Maps

Both allow users to contribute to improving the maps, and it is part of this Waze vs Google Maps fight. The reason for contribution is different in both. Waze uses a scoreboard and level system, while Google Maps uses points and levels system. In Waze, a user can earn proper respect by reporting the information as he or she travels. I have already mentioned that there are plenty of ways a user can report in Waze. While the user can also increase their reputation by editing the map on the Waze website. If you want to check your points, level and rank, then go to the profile and then tap on the scoreboard button. You can see your level on the screen and all time points. In “My Achievements” menu, you can see all of your achievements, including milestones, reports etc.

Google Maps, on the other hand, asks for rating, reviewing, adding photos, and answer questions about places. Your information helps Google Maps provide accurate information. Like achievements in Waze, Google Maps uses “badges”. As you rate, review, answer and upload photos you earn badges. As you go, you earn points and after specific points, your level increases. Google used to reward Drive storage in exchange for contributions, but these days, they focus on planning significant events around the world and a contributor can participate for free.

Which one is good where?

The answer to this question is tricky. I have been testing both apps for a long time now, and the below list is from my experience.

  • If you are a street lover and want to ignore the road, then Waze would be your choice.
  • If you are going toward a new location then Waze is your buddy.
  • For a known location, I would suggest Google Maps.
  • For public transport, Google Maps is there.
  • Thinking about shopping? You might like Google Maps as it tells you if the shop is closed or will be closed by the time you arrive.

In conclusion

Well, both Maps are well operated by a trusted company, and thousands of people are using both apps to explore the world. I hope the comparison of Waze and Google Maps helped you to figure out which app to use. What do you think about both apps? Which one do you use and why? Please share your experience with us.

Unity vs Unreal Engine 4 – Which One to Choose in 2019

Unity vs Unreal Engine 4
Unity vs Unreal Engine 4

Looking for an honest Unity vs Unreal Engine comparison? Unity and Unreal Engine are two game engines with the ability to make any developer rich. Unity software also called Unity3D by Unity Technologies and Unreal Engine 4 by Epic Games have a significant impact on PC and mobile world. Both are unique for their tools, and many developers have made many games through both the engines. In this article, we are going to compare Unity vs Unreal Engine 4 and see which one is perfect for your amazing games ideas. The article is the ultimate post of Unity vs Unreal Engine 4.

How Unity vs Unreal Engine 4 comparison works

We are going to compare the below section of both game engines and whichever engine wins the section wins a point.

    1. Interface.
    2. Graphics.
    3. Pricing.
    4. Supported platforms.
    5. Stores (Unity Assets Store and Unreal Marketplace).
    6. Supported programming languages.
    7. Other features.
    8. (not compared) Some famous games.
    9. Comparison video.
    1. In conclusion.

Unity3D Interface
Unity3D Interface

Regarding using the software, Unity is more natural because I have already mentioned above that Unity has been focusing on the entire software, unlike Epic Games, who have been focusing on the graphics most. Both tools are hard to understand in the beginning because of so many buttons and menus. Many tutorials on YouTube explain how both work. Unity Pro (paid) comes with a dark skin which gives Unity a new look. Unreal on the other hand is a little bit complex and a new person requires good knowledge to use the tool like a pro.

Score: Unity: 1, Unreal Engine: 1. Unity is a clear winner here. If you are a new developer who wants to start developing games, then Unity will be a better choice.

Regarding graphics, both engines are enough to fill a game developer’s needs. Unity is good for 2D and 3D game development, where Unreal Engine is more for 3D games. The graphics in Unreal Engine looks more natural compared to Unity. In Unity3D, a developer has to go an extra mile to make the game stunning. With Unreal Engine, you can create the graphical games having the same performance on PC as well as on mobile phones.

According to TairaGames 3D games made in Unity are likely to drain the battery faster while a 2D game made in Unity will drain the battery slower as compared Unreal Engine. From the beginning, Unreal is always been focusing more on the graphics while Unity Technologies has been focusing on 2D, ease of use and other features of the software.

Score: Unity: 0, Unreal Engine 4: 1. Regarding graphics in the comparison, Unreal Engine is a perfect winner. If you are a well-trained programmer and want to make awesome 3D games, then Unreal Engine will be a better choice.

Unity is available for free, and you can use it as much as you want. However, if your revenue is over $100K annual revenue, you must purchase the paid plan. The first one is Plus starting at $35 per month on a monthly plan or $25 per month on the annual plan. It comes with other benefits including free development courses, 20% off asset store, extended Unity Analytics, Pro Skin Editor UI and much more. If your company or you earned over $200K in the last year, then you will have to purchase the Pro plan. With the Pro plan, there is no earning limit, and you get premium support. So, the bottom line is if you are a new developer who is not earning $100K yearly, then you can use Unity for free.
Unreal Engine 4 prices are different than Unity3D. The company has earned the hearts of many developers with making Unreal Engine free. If the games’ gross revenue is over $3,000 per quarter, which means if your game(s) is earning over $12,000 annually then you will have to pay 5% royalty-free. Their mission is “we only succeed when you succeed”. So, you can use the Unreal Engine if your games’ gross revenue is less than $3,000 per quarter.

Score: Unity: 2, Unreal Engine: 2. Both get one point because no one is the winner. Both are available for free but have different pricing rules.

Supported platforms

Unity Supported Platforms
Unity Supported Platforms
Unity supports 27 platforms which are Windows, Mac, Linus, PS4, PSVITA, Xbox One, iOS, Android, Windows Phone, WebGL, Nintendo 3DS, Oculus Rift, Google Cardboard Android & iOS, Steam VR PC & Mac, PlayStation VR, Gear VR, Windows Mixed Reality, Google Daydream, Android TV, Samsung SMART TV, tvOS, Nintendo Switch, Fire OS, Facebook Gameroom, Apple ARKit, Google ARCore, and Vuforia. You can deploy your games to any platform for free.

Unreal Engine 4 supports 18 platforms which are Windows, Mac, Linux, iOS, Android, SteamOS, FreeBSD, HTMl5, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Magic Leap One, Steam VR, Oculus Rift, PlayStation VR, Google Daydream, OSVR, and Samsung Gear VR.

Score: Unity: 3, Unreal Engine: 2. The clear winner here is Unity because it supports nine more platforms than Unreal Engine 4.

Unity has an Asset Store where developers can look around and buy the stuff. Asset store offer from graphics to music, images, animation, material to whole projects. Some assets are free, and some are paid. You can also create own stuff and sell on the Unity Asset Store.

Unreal Engine also has Marketplace where developers can buy the stuff. You can find things like 2D tools, animations, characters, environments, FX, music and much more. You can also put your stuff on sale

Score: Unity: 4, Unreal Engine 4: 3. Both have stores where developers can find hundreds of assets.

Supported languages

Although the article focuses on the software, programming languages are also part of Unity vs Unreal Engine 4 battle. Unity supports JavaScript and C# as the programming languages. You can use both languages in one project. Unreal Engine, on the other hand, supports C++ and Blueprints. Blueprints is a drag and drop programming for non-programmers. Blueprints is a visual scripting system and limited as compared to C++, but a perfect choice for new developers.
Winner: No one is the winner because C++, C#, JavaScript are widely used, and it depends on the skills of a programmer.

Score: Unity: 5, Unreal Engine: 4. Some developers prefer C++ and some C#. Both game engines also have alternates if you don’t like the programming language.

Unity vs Unreal Engine video

Here a video showing the comparison. The video mostly covers the same information which is available in the article, but in a video, the comparison becomes easier to understand.

In conclusion

Anyway, let’s see the results from the comparison. Unity: 5 | Unreal Engine: 4. It’s not about the points, but the only difference I see world think is Unity3D is for a new developer and Unreal Engine is for experienced developers who want to create high graphical games. Both work fine, and it’s entirely up to you whichever you select, but my suggestion is, go around and have a look at the video tutorials and if possible, try both on your PC. I hope the comparison helped. Thanks for reading and please let me know if I have missed anything, or any information is wrong.

Grammarly vs Microsoft Word – Performing Different Tests on Both in 2019

Grammarly vs Microsoft Word
Grammarly vs Microsoft Word

Hello to you in the article Grammarly vs Microsoft Word. Grammarly and Microsoft Word are two tools people think of comparing. Microsoft Word is designed for writing and printing documents where Grammarly is a writing assistant. How do these perform in the tests I’m going to conduct? Let’s find out in the ultimate Grammarly VS. Microsoft Word comparison in 2019.

  6. Other comparisons.
  7. In conclusion.

Functional differences

Before reviewing both, let us see the features and primary goals for both software. Microsoft Word is a software available on multiple platforms. The primary purpose of Microsoft Word is writing and printing the documents. On the other end, Grammarly is a unique tool made for checking spelling and grammar mistakes. Grammarly comes with an assistant in the premium version which can help you with punctuation, remove unnecessary words, fix passive words, grammar, spelling, punctuation, context, sentence structure in sentences and find synonyms for the words you type.

Spell and grammar check – Test 01

Let us dive into the comparison of Grammarly vs Microsoft Word and see which one can perform better under certain circumstances. I took a piece of content and tested it in both the software. Both software showed corrected the grammar, but after fixing all the issues, the text was a little bit different. Below is the original text which I tested on both tools.

Original text

Being a Youtuber I get lots of messages every day, and I don’t have enough time to respond to each person because I’m busy learning how google works. on Youtube so that’s why I have hired an assistant who handles all these messages and if he finds anything important he sends the message in email with particular video URL.

If you want I can ask the guy if he can work for you too in his free time but he is expensive and it can cost you a lot if you ask him to work on Sundays.

Grammarly premium is a great tool, and because it is specially made for checking grammar and spelling mistakes, it could find and fix more issues than Word. Here is the list of fixes which Grammarly could solve. Here is the detailed comparison of both tools.

  1. Changed “on YouTube” to “On YouTube”, and also it added a comma after YouTube in the second line.
  2. It added a comma after “messages”.
  3. Grammarly changed “important” to “significant”.
  4. It added, “the” before email and “a” before particular video at the end of the paragraph.

Here is the list of fixes which Word could solve but Grammarly.

  1. It changed “Youtube” to “YouTube”.
  2. It deleted “particular” before “video” because it was unnecessary.

Although, there were some mistakes which both software could not find.

  1. In the first line “Youtuber” should be “YouTuber”.
  2. “google” should be “Google”.

Spell and grammar check – Test 02

To clear the doubt, I put both on test again. In the second spell and grammar check in Grammarly vs Word, I selected a different topic.

Original text

According to majority of people hard work is the key to success. People should not waste the time on social media like facebook or Instagram. I highly recommend to search on google to see the ways to be a successful person in this world. Ocean’s water is salty and a human need fresh water.

Here are the results for the second test.

  1. Added “the” after “according”.
  2. It removed “the” before “time.
  3. Grammarly changed “facebook and instagram” to “Facebook and Instagram”.
  4. Changed “to search” to “searching on”.
  5. Grammarly added the comma before “and”.
  6. It added “s” to need.

Microsoft Word:

  1. Microsoft Word changed “facebook and instagram” to “Facebook and Instagram”.
  2. Changed “to search” to “searching on”.

In the second test, Microsoft Word could not find anything other than two mistakes which Grammarly also found.

Winner: Regarding grammar, Grammarly is a winner. Grammarly is no doubt better than Microsoft Word and one of the favourite apps to check for grammar and spelling mistakes.

Check out: Microsoft Launcher Review.

A review video

Before we begin comparing both services, let’s watch a video made purely for the comparison. The video shows the same mistakes mentioned in this article and explains what happens and why.

Issues with both tools

Anyway, no software is perfect, but if you have both, then it is essential to check the grammar in both the tools. I have been using both for a while now, and here are some of the negatives about both.

  1. Grammarly has a lack of knowledge about checking for brand names.
  2. Microsoft Word isn’t good at suggesting comma.
  3. Overuse of Grammarly can be harmful. For example, sometimes it keeps suggesting the verbs like the word “software” to “tool” then same “tool” to “machinery”, You can see we were talking about computer software, and in two clicks Grammarly changed it to a physical machine.

Both are great tools, and both are famous for their abilities to check for grammatical mistakes and other tasks. Word is an app for office where Grammarly is a writing assistant. I hope the comparison removes any misunderstandings or any questions. What do you think about the comparison Grammarly vs Microsoft Word? Which one do you use and why? Which is the Best Plagiarism Checker? Testing the Major Plagiarism Tools

Plagiarism is one of the vital problems on the internet. From universities to search enginers every tool checks for the plagiarism before considering an article. Are you confused which Plagiarism Checker you should trust? In this article, I have put the top 8 plagiarism checkers to find out the best Plagiarism checkers. The article is going to test below tools, and we will put some hard to find text on the internet to see which tools are the best to check for the plagiarism.

Please note that this is the second test and the final results in the test are the combined scores from the previous test and current test. Tools we are going to check are:

  1. Plagiarism Checker by Small SEO Tools.
  3. Grammarly (paid).
  4. Dupli Checker.
  5. EduBirdie.
  6. Quetext.
  7. PaperRater.
  8. Plagium.

Testing the text from one of my newly written posts

Before we begin, there are quite a few things which we must keep in mind before finding the best plagiarism checker. The first thing is, a plagiarism checker is the best if it can check the newest possible writing and it can guide us to the original content. Considering that, I’m going to test a piece of text from one of my new articles and see which plagiarism checkers can detect the text.

The article I’m going to test is SwiftKey Keyboard vs Gboard and compare the functionality for each checker. The best Plagiarism Checker will most likely to show me the plagiarised text with the link, and hopefully, all of the checkers will be able to identify that. I’m using the scoring system which will give you an idea about the tool and its functionalities.

01. Plagiarism Checker by Small SEO Tools (free) | Score: 90

Plagiarism Checker by Small SEO Tools
Plagiarism Checker by Small SEO Tools

In my previous tests, Plagiarism got 70 scores, and at that time, the interface was different. Now they have updated the interface, and I must say they have improved the tool too. Plagiarism Checker by Small SEO Tools is one of the great tools, According to the tool, 83% of the content was plagiarised, and 17% of the material was unique. The best thing about this tool is, it gives you the options to compare the plagiarised text which mainly goes to google and searches the text, it shows you the website address of the original content in the second menu, and it shows the highlighted plagiarised text in the third menu. I have given 90 scores to this tool because it does not ask for any account information and the tool is free.

02. PLAGIARISMA (free) | Score: 50

I hate to say this, but PLAGIARISMA could not find the text at all. The tool has two options (Google/Bing), and you must select one, so the checker can check for the writing on the search engine. There is also an option to find the exact match or similar. Picking Google showed me that the text is 100% unique while selecting Bing showed me that the writing is 10% unique. I can understand that selecting Bing gives somehow accurate results but most of the people are always scared of Google. There is a limit on how many times you can check the content each day so make sure you are not splitting the text.

03. Grammarly (paid) | Score: 80

The tool is one of the great Plagiarism checking tools out there and my favourite too, but the problem with this tool is you can’t check the content for free. In the tests, Grammarly could find the real text within a couple of seconds, and it showed the text as 100% plagiarised with a link to the original text post. The paid version is $11 per month on annual plan and $29 per month on the monthly plan. The reason I have given this tool 80 scores is that the tool is paid so you can not check the text for free. You can check prices here.

04. DupliChecker (free) | Score: 95

Dupli Checker
Dupli Checker

The fourth plagiarism checker on the list is Dupli Checker. The tool is one of the best plagiarism checkers out there because it is fast, free, and up-to-date. The tool could find the text source and shows me a link to the post. If you want to compare the text, then hit the Compare Text button and it will download shows you the original page with red highlighted plagiarised text. Surely one of the great tools to try.

05. EduBirdie (free) | Score: 90

When I first wrote this article, the tool got 35 scores because it could not find the text, but I must say this time it could find the text and showed the source. The tool has improved, and the best thing about EduBirdie is it shows you every possible source which contains the original text. You can differentiate between sources by clicking on the show button.

06. quetext (free) | Score: 30

Oops! quetext missed the article, I think. The tool showed me that, the text was unique. The reason I have given this tool 30 scores is that it has a great interface and it displays the red highlighted plagiarised text when it finds anything.

07. PaperRater (free) | Score: 95

The seventh plagiarism checker on the list in PaperRater and I was satisfied with the results because in the tests I could see that 89% of the text was not real. It also showed me both possible links which contain the original content. You can hover to the source to see the highlighted text. Clicking on the source goes to the website straight away.

Check out: Grammarly vs Microsoft Word.

08. Plagium (free) | Score: 100

It is a great plagiarism checker and the way it handled my text was beautiful. It comes with two options “the web” and “news” with two buttons “Quick Search” and “Deep Scan”. The deep scan requires a free account sign up, but you can quickly search with the quick search button. In results, it showed the source of the text with the percentage of similar text. The other best thing about Plagium is it sorts all the source from most similar to less similar so you can get the most accurate result on the top. The checker got 100 scores because it sure is one of the best plagiarism checkers.

Final results

The final results are combined results for the previous test and this test. The score might be different because of the comparison with the old test.

Plagiarism Checker by Small SEO Tools80
Dupli Checker93

In conclusion

Well, the results from plagiarism checkers are in front of you. The results table shows that in both the tests, Grammarly, Dupli Checker, PaperRater, and Plagium found the correct sources. Grammarly is a paid one, and if you don’t want to pay, then you can go Plagium, PaperRater, or Dupli Checker. The best practice I recommend is checking the content on all of these websites if you think your content is similar to others.

What do you think of the best plagiarism checkers? Are you using any of the these and why? Help me improve the article by commenting on what you think.

3 Ways to Fix Unsupported Audio-Video Codec on Android Device

Unsupported Audio/Video Codec

Unsupported Audio/Video Codec is a message which pops up when your default video player can’t play the audio or the video of a file. The error “unsupported audio codec” displays when the player can’t play the audio and “unsupported video codec” pops up when the player can’t play the video. If that’s the case with you then, don’t worry, because in this article, I will show you three ways to fix unsupported audio-video codec issues on an Android device.

Simple Answer

The easiest fix is using the VLC Media Player app on your phone. If you want to learn more about VLC or wish to use the default video player, then follow the article.

Why I get this message?

Well, to understand why you get unsupported audio-video codec, you must understand what a codec is.

What is a codec?

Before we get to the solution, let’s learn why we get this warning. You might have seen the extensions like MP3, WMA, etc., at the end of an audio file and MKV, WMV, etc., on a video file. These are called containers. A container contains codecs. The video and audio files take a considerable amount of space, so developers use the codecs to compress the file into a transferable source.

Find your fix

There are many ways to fix the issue, but the article covers three. The first is the easiest one, but you can’t play the video in the default Android player. The last two are advanced and can take a long time, depending on the length of the video.

  1. Using VLC Media Player.
  2. Converting the video on Android.
  3. Converting the video on a PC.

Using VLC Media Player to fix unsupported audio-video codec

The goal here is to play the video, and the solution is downloading VLC Media Player, which is a free and open-source media player. VLC Media Player comes with a vast amount codecs installed, making it more powerful than the default video player. Download the app and open it to sync the media. You can also play the video with VLC using open with option.

Also read VLC Media Player for Android Review.

Using a video converter on Android to convert the video

I have received messages about playing the videos in the default video player because of many reasons. There are many apps on the Google Play Store. Try Fully Video Converter or Video Converter to convert the video in MP4 (or select Android if device option is available) and choose MP3 or OGG as audio format and wait for the video to be converted. Some converters don’t convert the audio file, so you will have to be careful while choosing the converter.

Using a video converter on PC to convert the video

This is called an old-fashioned way. You might have used video converters on PC. These days it’s hard to find a free and relevant video converter. You will need a charging cable for your phone to open files on the PC. Once everything is ready, let’s download a video converter. Some of the free video converters are Freemake Video Converter and Any Video Converter. Before starting, make sure you understand what resolution your device supports. If your device is one of the latest ones, then 1080P would be fine.

Let’s go through the step by step process on how to convert for Android device. I’ll be using Freemake Video Converter, but the technique is the same for most of the converters.

Freemake Video Converter

Step 01: To begin, click on Video and then add the video you want to convert.

Converting Video in Freemake

Step 02: Once the video has been added, click on “to MP4” in the footer. MP4 is one of the popular extensions, and most Android devices support it.

Converting Video in Freemake 2

Step 03: The convert screen will come up. It would take some time to convert the video. Click on the “Convert” button to begin.

Converting Video in Freemake 3

Once the video is converted, you will be able to play the video on your Android device.

Fix unsupported audio-video codec on Android YouTube video

In conclusion

With great phones and software, we expect everything to be perfect, but it’s not the case every time. I hope you found the solution to your issue. Please feel free to ask any questions, and if you have a different way.
