HD Video Converter Factory Pro by WonderFox is another video converter with not just video converting tools, but it’s a full package of a video editor. In this article, I’m going to write HD Video Converter Factory Pro review and see what new features it brings to the world.
To thoroughly review this software, we will split each feature and give a rating. Finally, we will calculate the overall rating.
HD Video Converter Factory Pro Review
Table of contents
- GIF Maker.
- Free vs paid.
- Overall rating.
- Final words.
- In conclusion.
The software is easy to install, and you don’t have to register an account or anything to download. The .exe file is 84 MB while the installation software size is 228.6 MB which is reasonably fine because it’s not just a converter.
When you open the software, the main interface pops-up, you can’t full size the software, but you can move it around freely. The main interface has the option to select tools. The tool comes with the converter, downloader, recorder, GIF maker, and toolbox.
Converter and compressor
The converter allows you to add multiple videos and all videos are converted at the same time. The video information with size, resolution, and format are visible. Below each video, you’ll find options including subtitles, audio, cut, trim, rotate, effect, watermark, and metadata. The output video information is on the right. The software supports over 20 formats. You can also choose a device if you are not sure about which format to go. The list of supported formats:
- H2665 for MP4.
- H265 for MKV.
The software does an excellent job of compressing videos. A 700 MB video can be converted and compressed into 114 MB. As some people love sending videos in emails, HD Video Converter Factory Pro can help.
Final words: The software supports over 20 formats, and the compressor is super useful. Rating: 5 out of 5.
The downloader is another excellent feature of HD Video Converter Factory Pro. It can download videos and other files from YouTube, Facebook, Dailymotion and many more. To download a file, the URL must be pasted. It takes some time to analyse the file, and once it is analysed, you’ll find download options. You can add multiple downloads at the same time.
Final words: Takes some time to analyse the video. Overall, it gets there. Rating: 4 out of 5.
The next part of the HD Video Converter Factory Pro review is the recorder. The software can screen-cast. It comes with options:
- Selecting custom and full-screen recording. The custom size has an adjustable frame.
- Enabling and disabling the microphone.
- Changing the output folder
- Changing quality. A ten-second video in high quality takes about 4 MB while a low-quality video takes less than 1 MB.
Final words: Simple and easy to use recording tool. Supports multi-quality screen recording. Rating: 4.5 out of 5.

There are two things you can do with this tool. Create a GIF from a video or create a GIF from photos.
GIF from photos
The photos screen comes with nothing interesting. You have options:
- Select images.
- Change the GIF resolution.
- Select GIF quality.
In the test creating a GIF of seven images took more than a minute and the final file was 37 MB.
GIF from video
The video GIF maker is faster than photos. A one-second GIF took about 8 MB of storage.
Final words: The photo GIF was 37 MB which is a bit much. Video GIF maker works seamlessly fine. Rating: 4 out of 5.
The final tool of HD Video Converter Factory Pro review is Toolbox. The toolbox tool is a multi-tool container. The features are:
- Photo to video maker, which helps you add some pictures and make a video. The missing feature though is, you can’t add music.
- Split-screen Video Maker, which allows you to play two videos simultaneously. The tool is my favourite, as I sometimes compare to apps/software on my YouTube channel.
- Ringtone Studio tool lets you split and convert a video/video to audio and gives you a supported file. You have an opportunity to select your device before converting.
- Subtitle Extractor is another tool to consider. The tool does not do a speech-to-text extraction. The video file must already contain subtitles file.
Free vs paid
The free version comes with limited features. You can only convert a less than 5-minute video. Second, the downloader can only download five files. Third, the recorder can only record for up to five times. Fourth, you can make GIFs, but the watermark will be there. Other features like lightning mode, hardware acceleration, lifetime updates, and technical support are also missing.
The feature lets you convert videos up to 50x faster. The feature supports limited computers and extensions.
Another premium feature is hardware acceleration which supports intel, Nvidia, and AMD graphics cards to increase the speed and the video performance. The feature supports limited computers and video formats.
Technical support and tutorials
Their support team is always ready, and they have a vast amount of tutorials if you need help. One of the tutorials helped me to convert and watch a video on TV.
The pro version supports many more features which can be found on the download page.
The paid version comes in three different categories. You can purchase a year’s license, lifetime license, or family lifetime license. The year’s license is for $29.95, the single lifetime license is $34.95, and family license which allows you to use the software on up to three PCs is $59.95.
Simple software with advanced features. Works smoothly in any environment.
